Re: 100m to buy back .. BUT why?
Morning Chumley. I have suggested this to Shaun in a previous email. Not sure he knew what he could do and equally not sure that he wanted to either. But he should get one of the brokers to issue the notice imo. I think that most people think that the lending is coming from gdxj, which makes you won...

Re: Massive BHP takeover news…. Rejected
It’s almost certainly a CFD, a contracts for difference. It’s an otc contract where the bank, broker or mkt maker buys the shares and then does the cfd, transferring the economic benefit to BHP. It’s very very common practice and nothing to get excited about.

Re: Marginal ounces at Havieron
Volcker may have crushed everything but I prefer to believe that the squeeze that the Bunker Hunts put on the gold and silver markets in 79/80 was ended when the US govt/cftc changed the rules on them and bankrupted them forcing mass liquidation.

Re: If you had to say...
Tough one mushy. I think its likely they will make a proposal just after the FS as easier to get board approval then. Can’t see why they would want the exploration assets as they are no good at exploration. They might want to include anything where there is an exploration hit, but wouldn’t want to p...

Re: Questions for Shaun
Morning Jiffy. I think that there is a real possibility of an arrangement with PacTrends and the Tassie assets might be a neat fit. I am quite sure Shaun would be speaking with the PT people given they are about to inherit 145m shares. It might be a blow to the shorters if they suddenly found out th...

Re: Questions for Shaun
Speedy, he clearly hasn’t been able to buy any for some time now, mainly cos of the 5%. If he announces the 5%, the bank financing and then NC and Ggp announce drill results on Wednesday week, he may have cleansed himself of all the material information that he possesses that isn’t in the market atm...

Valleyboy, part of the delay was due to some unseasonal late rains that disrupted getting kit on site. My understanding is that they will be drilling in July, but I also understand that lab delays have not got any better.

Re: How did you hear about #GGP
Evening all.
So I heard about ggp from a Solgold board. Someone mentioned how good had5 was. But the sp had retraced all its gains from that announcement back to the 1.50-1.80 region. So I started buying and the rest is history, geography and geology.
