Hi Bamps, v interesting and pretty exciting tbh!
Do you know how thick the top, SLOS, zone has to be to enable bulk mining underneath safely? Presume it depends to some degree on the type of rock in situ?

Re: Liam
Idiots like Daveri007 just have an agenda which is detrimental to must of us. Liam on the other hand has been selfless and fair as far as I can see, a good example and a great support to many ggp investors. A complete contrast,

Re: New Newmont strategy
For me the Money of Mine piece only told half the story. They noticed that the valuations in the NCM scheme doc were weird and then used them and the £60m 5% valuation as per the scheme document, and didn’t contrast that to the actual value of the Havieron asset already identified as a JORC resource...

Re: What the Newmont/Newcrest deal means for Greatland?
Dip I agree with nearly all of what you say, very neatly put. Personally I don’t think GGP will pop up with another M&A opportunity in the current circumstances, with so much at stake and so much potential call on the funding available for a prospective purchase of 70% Hav and maybe Telfer. Ther...

Unleashing the ‘benefits’ of short selling, that sounds like a contradiction in terms to me.

Wow, thanks both, that is great work and really helps in visualising how things are progressing (and expected to progress) over time.

Re: Closed
The FCA website shows it went to 0.49% yesterday (5th) then does not list a current short position on todays spreadsheet. I read it that that means it is closed but I suppose it could mean it is now below the reportable threshold? That would be a strange manoeuvre on their part

Re: Questions I'd love to ask Shaun and the GGP team
Dip this is a great idea. I’d support all your questions so far and given recent events would add: (This one could be appended to your question on inorganic growth). There has been a lot of speculation in the private investor community about the need, and any purpose for, the proposed further diluti...

Re: Sprott initiates research on GGP - Shaun Day
Hi Zoros That was how it read for me, their current valuation of the gold in the ground assuming the SLOS and bulk resources discussed, which includes a risk factor as discussed in the report. Thus the 17p is the assessed current valuation with those assumptions built in. Thus the bulk mine gold is ...

Re: REMINDER - Diggers & Dealers Mining Forum
Yes, given SD said he’s in London for as long as it takes (the context I believe was debt funding to go alongside the 5%), will he be doing his D & D presentation by zoom from London or will he be back in Perth, 5% deal and bank funding in the corporate back pocket? A v interesting few weeks ahe...

Golds role in a changing world order

Interesting video - Frank Giustra, who does have industry experience and to me talks a lot of common sense - ends up discussing the potential world economy split and the role of gold.

To some degree maybe but plans can change if you’re trying to save every dollar. I’m glad to see they are still powering ahead with exploration which could give them a vital second string to the bow.

Re: Highlights of 2022 Campaign
I felt the announcement of the years drilling programme now while the 5% outcome is still not publicly sorted, and all the debate about capex and funding, is a real sign of confidence from SD and co, ie ‘we know we can afford to get this done’. Yes, the raise before Xmas set out one of its purposes ...

Re: A huge project
I echo those comments - Bamps you’re an absolute ‘mine’ of research info, thank you. EG is such a literally huge opportunity. Maybe the cash flow from Havieron in a couple of years will really enable them to get into EG in a big way to dig deeper into EG and start to really define specific assets. T...

Re: Interview with Callum Bxater - Coffee with Samso
What I love about the interview is that clearly Callum is by no means a salesman but his confidence in Havieron growth and future were very clear, as was his satisfaction with how it has gone so far, and no qualms whatsoever about Newcrest in how he spoke.

Re: Block Cave Cost Estimate - GGP 25% Share $207m
Zoros I don’t think Hydrogen was trying to present those calculations as 100% fact proven figures, they were indicative based on what we know now and some assumptions. The $2500 gold figure was a ‘look what it could be if this happens’. His generalconclusions are reasonable and show the type of path...
