I was intrigued to understand what Alloy/Strickland did with this opportunity and I will post in order of there development (or not) depending on how you view it.

Re: Newmont and Telfer (with Havieron)
I think todays RNS's are very positive and in relation to this tread actually enhances the chance of an agreement with Newmont on Telfer/Havieron.

Re: Newmont and Telfer (with Havieron)
Zorba Thanks I had not been thinking about anything other than the change of ownership of the joint venture and its effect on GGP, not the greater (possible ) picture. Your are correct re the new board members, (who I have always said are not here for peanuts, they know GGP will reward them well wit...

Re: Newmont and Telfer (with Havieron)
Thanks Bamps for the posts I had seen some but not all. https://www.spglobal.com/marketintelligence/en/news-insights/research/newmont-acquisition-of-newcrest-would-be-largest-gold-merger-in-history I had missed this interesting article, so I had not seen the AISC graph of the different assets which ...

Re: Newmont and Telfer (with Havieron)
I had not gone that far, but my thoughts for what they are worth. I think it will be a sale as a going concern, so work will continue, they have a JV that requires to continue, and a decision to Mine or Not, unless they want to pull out of the JV and we then get the 70% back for free, I cannot see t...

Newmont and Telfer (with Havieron)
I have not been convinced that Newmont will divest itself of Telfer, but I am becoming convinced that this is more likely to happen than it continue as-is i.e. a Joint venture into a miner. My reasoning has change with the new Newmont prestation linked below. From this and the other things issued as...

Re: ASX Listing
If we take the Newmont/Newcrest deal as done, then we have a new JV partner on three JV's. Newmont have said they intend to divest of non core assets as is their way with take overs/mergers. Shaun has had dealings with Newmont prior to joining GGP, but whoever was at GGP, I would think as soon as th...

Re: Bamps posts
It is the right decision Bamps This site allows all the information on a part of the great subject of Greatland to be stored in a location and collected there. It may be that some on these location get cleaned/tidied once in a while. Havieron has not expanded a lot and is now a set of different area...

Re: "Paris in the spring time"
Sitting here in Spain, not Paris, on the coast and it is raining so catching up with bits. I did think that Madrid being the highest capital city in Europe is up high. 657 metres high, then realised due to this post. It is only 2 Eiffel Towers, just shows high high the Eiffel Tower is, amazing. Imag...

Are we due a Bmre soon after this weeks RNS, AGM and Town Hall meeting?
Re: Firetower
Shaun is getting on with reshaping GGP.
Can anyone say if this is a good deal financially?
How much has GGP spent on the Projects?
Not that these matter as they did take money to maintain on the books, and like I footballer where the contract runs out, so return is better than none.
