Re: Greatland all-in on Australian gold - The Australian Mining Review
It'll be interesting to note how much new information we receive after full ownership is signed off early December. Shaun did say that up until then GGP has been restrained by the JV and other commercial relationships, but as of completion day the gloves are off. Lets hope that we get a revised pla...

Re: Midlands meet soon
Date and time not yet set, needs all things to align and at present they do not.
I will send a round robin email to all who have previously let me have there details, (and today I have had a few more GGPers), I had been awaiting to know how the Stroud meet went.

Midlands meet soon
Just left the meet at Stroud.
Firstly a big thanks to Bamps for arranging.
Secondly we raised £95 for Macmillan Nurses
And third following this will now sort out a meet in the Nottingham/Derby/Leicester area, just got to sort out date and time when Bamps is available, but will set up asap.

Re: Our Expectations now we are a Tier 1 Miner
Not just that, but a hope that we can run debt free, except for a bit of working capital. I hope we can run using very little of the bank facility for Telfer and Havieron, if that turns out to be the case then we can fund any acquisitions that allow Greatland to grow substantially in value. Once we ...

Re: Our Expectations now we are a Tier 1 Miner
Hizer,
I think you are nearly there but think the repayment of the loans may be slightly higher than stated as time (and interest) stop for no man.
I was hoping for 3 announcements on the trot, now thinking it may be 1 December for completion.

Re: Our Expectations now we are a Tier 1 Miner
IMO The public release of the latest corporate presentation shows confidence in the deal being imminent. J I think firstly that all the hurdles were checked out prior to the deal and therefore this stage is really a formality, and as we know formalities take time. Should anything that would stop th...

Re: Our Expectations now we are a Tier 1 Miner
I've not seen any news on that (Newmont approval), but it does not seem to make any sense for them to approve GGP, from the UK as a buyer and then refuse the owner permission to sell, the result could be Newmont say Ok we will close it all down with the loss of jobs. I cannot see the Newmont permiss...

Re: Our Expectations now we are a Tier 1 Miner
Spondy you got me thinking so I have checked both day and times. This year to date this is the distribution of days when RNS's have been issued, in 2024, where 2 have been on the same day I have only recorded it once so as not to distort. Monday 4 Tuesday 2 Wednesday 6 Thursday 5 Friday 2 3pm is abo...

Re: Our Expectations now we are a Tier 1 Miner
If and I have good reason to believe from Shiny Bits the 14 days are over, then the backroom boys have had an expected period to complete the paperwork that is part of the transaction. The only thing left is any permissions that are still required (if any) as there was an expectation expressed by SD...

Re: Our Expectations now we are a Tier 1 Miner
Any day now may be confirmation of successful operation of the plant, hopefully via shiny bits or via RNs, we are then only awaiting confirmation all other parts of the deal are complete. Then we should get a date when the deal completes, from what I have seen this is likely to be before 1 December....

Re: Our Expectations now we are a Tier 1 Miner
Thank for the update Shiny, at sea yesterday but back on land now. Having times when you cannot get new is concerning, a bit like with GGP WA, we have to wait for info, thanks again I was not sure if the 14 day finished this weekend, but seems likely at end of month, not sure we will now take over o...

Re: Our Expectations now we are a Tier 1 Miner
It would be great to get an update from Telfer on the current situation from site, (shinybits if you can). Not sure if we will get another RNS until all conditions satisfied, and a date for completion.

Re: Our Expectations now we are a Tier 1 Miner
We know a man who has experience at taking over End of Life Gold mines. He must have met the situation where they have had to plan for the equipment to be replaced either due to improved modern equipment that makes a financial case for replacement or due to age/risk of failure. There must be a risk ...

Re: Tailings Dams
Any news on the start up is all on track? When does the set period end, is it when the whole process has been running for a period of 14 consecutive days? Following Shinybits (Thanks) posts can it be assumed it will take one to two weeks to get the full trains up and working? If all runs well for a ...

I would hope the next two reported Quarters result are good and improving , together with a few positive RNS's and then after Q1 results the ASX listing. so as to benefit from the good news.

Re: Newmont and Telfer (with Havieron)
This is a long long thread, and following the Town Hall meeting, I decided to review what was said, can I think you all for your contributions. I admit I know (next to ) nothing about mining and all my input was based on corporate actions and as always these are just my thoughts which can be very wr...
