The key difference though is that the debt facility for the decline is CAPEX and is spent directly on the Havieron mine development ... rather than lining the pockets of Newmont shareholders ..... and it has to be incurred regardless in order to get to the ore body. In my opinion Newmont are not buying shares. I feel it’s more likely to be GDXJ. The gold price is up the last few weeks and looks to be heading to new highs in USD (already all time highs in all other currencies). I remember that as well Hydro. I suggested Twiggy since he is a legend in Oz, but I knew most here in the UK didn’t have a clue who he was at the time. Well they do now.
