Re: Callum Baxter - GGPTV

I've just seen this and wow - I'd heard a few comments that it was a good discussion and it surpassed my high expectation - I don't think I've ever heard so much positive information come out of one interview. So in terms of exploring, the hardest thing for Greatland is to know where to start! No wo...

Re: Pierre Lassonde interview

On the subject of Pierre Lassonde interviews, Flareboom posted a link to an interview on Sunday night on LSE. The interview is from 18 Nov 2022 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AbhSN9_Py4 I really enjoyed this - as FB points out in his LSE post, it's the one where Lassonde predicts that if you have ...

Hi Trigga,

Bamps had kindly pointed me to that thread - I hadn't realised it had been covered so well by yourselves already!
I especially like the overlays.

Re: New licences

Hi Bamps, this is the rough outline of the tenement blocks drawn over the image taken from the gov website - the red dot in the blue area near the top is the Citadel hill area ( is that blue area the application?), and the olive colour is the Rio Tinto Antipa citadel JV that tallies up with the scre...

GGP ( Panorama ) vs THOR ( Ragged Ridge )

Just for interest: I noticed a post by Timber Trader today on LSE regarding THORs high-grade intercepts at ragged ridge. TT also posted an image of the two locations ( Panorama & Ragged Ridge ) using the following link: https://www.share-talk.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/20-004-1a-ragged-range...

Re: Closed

That was the fly in the ointment with my speculation about a full buy-back - however saying that GGP is in 5 days +1.30 (17.57%), which is not insignificant.

Re: Closed

Dip touched on the psychology of the reporting threshold in his post; earlier in the year it appeared to be the consensus view that when JPM poked their head above the threshold for reporting shorts, it had the effect of creating unease and doubt in the minds of investors, thus pushing the share pri...

Looking back at Dot01's post - who had an extremely good handle on what was about to happen!
Dot, if you're around I would be interested in your thoughts now the finance is sorted subject to shareholder approval....

Re: Wyloo buy in ... Wow!!!!!

Oilmonkey, there is actually a last bit on the article that didn't copy that expands on that: -> Wyloo was also a stone in the shoe of IGO over the past year as it sought to acquire nickel miner Western Areas. Wyloo conspicuously bought Western Areas shares on market at prices that were higher than ...

Re: Massive BHP takeover news…. Rejected

Hi LA, I'm actually surprised that comment hasn't attracted many replies - it's one of the most eye-opening statements ( for me anyway! ) that I've seen for a while. The phrase 'you learn something every day' has never been so apt.

That's interesting Dip, thank you - so I've described cross listing!
To me, it does sound the more plausible of the two.

Re: Dual Listing

I've been attempting to research the effect of dual listings. A few people on this site and the other have made suggestions of what or how this could impact us. My understanding (so far) is that there would be no specific dilution? It's not like an IPO where new shares are created - effectively the ...

Re: Why $60m was a 'good' outcome given the JVA restrictions within the 5% Option Exercise

Dip, excellent post as ever. This reminds me of all those posts on LSE when people complained about Greatland 'giving away' so much of Havieron - when we all know that with the financial limitations and size of the company at the time, getting 25% of a project with massive potential was so much bett...

Re: 5%

I was watching the excellent live broadcast last night up to shortly after the announcements - the opinion at the time was that the $60 was Newcrest's figure, but this was literally minutes after the figures came in and before anyone had much chance to absorb all the information. Now I've not seen a...
