Re: AGM - Tuesday, 6 December 2022
Thanks, Midas Couldn't get there so this is very useful. I think we are not as vulnerable as we would have been if NCM had taken the 5% as had been agreed. J AGM started off straightaway with an interruption of AB on the first resolution, which I found both quite amusing, as unexpected and caught hi...

Re: Pierre Lassonde interview
Great post. G/D ratio: either of the two, or both, could change to create that D/G ratio ;). A bit rhetorical, but - Any guesses? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gU0Z85mNweE&t=724s From two years ago but watch again from 10min in.. he nails it then. remember Lassond has no axe to grind. 1-3moz r...

Re: Why did NCM Extend the Feasibility Study?
There's a massive gold-rich block cave developing down there, so I'm not surprised NCM need time to reassess the situation. Excellent news indicating more available ounces to add to the resource estimate.

Excellent result - great work by all concerned - inside the company and those of us outside.

Re: RNS
IMO, backing the resolutions proposed is the right strategy at the right time for a company with a bright future . I'm just surprised that any serious investor in a company that's in GGPs position would think otherwise - my investing life has been plagued by those with thoughtless negatvity.

PLeased to hear it was it was oversubscribed and that directors bought in. Cash in bank to help out with the loss of the 5% money. Interested to know the details of how the placing money will be allocated within the company.

Re: Expectations from NCMs MRE
I suppose we can consider that Newcrests decision not to take up the 5% has increased our perceived Havieron bit of the company value by 20% (from 25% to 30% of Havieron) from what we would otherwise have had, though our share of the mining cost increases. Also, any 'buyout' should, in theory (😉), c...

Re: If you had to say...
;) I'm not sure Newcrest can afford to buy a company that has 25% share on one of its biggest mine assets - and gets more expensive each time Newcrest put in another drill hole. I'd have thought it would have put in a bid already or at least as soon as the decision to mine is set in stone (as they s...

Re: How did you hear about #GGP
It was a purely chance find through random research when I stumbled on those '#GGP' twitter dicussions. I was convinced by that first, excellent drill assay result so bought my first tranche of shares. Added (up to SP 5p) as new assay results confirmed the find (at least to me) and it only got bette...

Re: Havieron value grows $1b in two months
A good bit of management strategy from Shaun IMO. This counter offer GGP made to Newcrest for the 5%, makes you wonder, did SD indirectly give an indication to Newcrest what price HAV is valved at, for them to make a bid. Am I doing overtime or something is in play indirctly. This can be detrimental...

Re: 5%
Personally (and selfishly) I was hoping for goodwill, token microbonus for shareholders, Not enough for that in this offer but it is great that we will have some cash to splash. To be used on whatever Shaun needs to splash it on to develop the company. Good progress... and the market seems to be pos...
