Re: Live Show
Hope Stuart popped tonight's bottles of red wine in the fridge at 4C for the last 48hrs, it is probably kinder to it than leaving it out to endure 40C.
Read on, the next poster will cover it all better....

Well, IMHO, I believe we'll still find that at Havieron "Every drill hole we put in there finds more gold"!

Re: Live Show
Looking forward to this evening, will it be 5% and drill results, or just drill results? I am 70% in favour of the 5% tonight!

Re: Live Show
Well we see Stuart likes a drop of red, but a trailer is pushing it a bit unless he's got a party going on!

Re: Live Show
Looking forward to finding out progress on the decline. Do we have a record of progress at each point which could be updated?

@RA
Surely you've got the y-axis the wrong way round?
I have to ask, as my entry into the Nerd of the Day Competition you seem to have started.

Re: Live Show
Good point Strudel. Aiways considered that a graph going upwards is progress.
But in this case, a graph showing progress on a decline should be decreasing. Let me have a play with Excel.

I thought it was going to be a spiral
Re: Live Show
How could it be? They would have to submit that as soon as it's agreed, waiting till the day of results would be suspect!Stuartw6040 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 20, 2022 9:02 am Looking forward to this evening, will it be 5% and drill results, or just drill results? I am 70% in favour of the 5% tonight!

Without wishing to be pedantic and I always hate to assume....
....the Y axis is in Metres dug - yes?
So if we could have a Label on the axis that would be super.
thanks

@RA
How's about labelling the y-axis with GGP's relative depth scale?
Just felt the need to out-nerd everyone else.....
Kinder than agreeing with other posters that it should've had an additional z-axis to capture it's spiral nature.

Re: Live Show
Jeez, I wish I hadn't started now.
Futtbucker - If you want to see the spiral nature of the decline on the graph, you'll need to look at your monitor sideways on.
Junglebabbler -
1. Y axis is lateral metres dug, to get the depth divide by 7.
2. Target of 2800M lateral distance (400M depth) is marked by the orange line at the bottom.
3. X Axix is at the top of the graph (surface level) and is the date of each of the progress reports. Therefore, the steeper the gradient, the faster the progress.
Strudel - Don't care about relative depth just need to get to 2800M lateral progress. Not gonna get into out nerding you.

(Uber nerd alert ...)
I'm just suggesting a sensible future proofing for your hard work to date when Bamps tells us they are tunnelling toward the first SLOS gallery and someone asks how progress is going.
And then when Bamps announces another high grade crescent in the Eastern Breccia with more selective mining galleries at a depth of 2000m and beyond, you will have the perfect spreadsheet already prepared.
