24/07/22 - Blackhills (north)

Post by strudel »

There may be diamond drilling started at the location highlighted....I think the RC drilling and collar was installed late June on this spot.

Saddlereef is where there is no cover?
So the next satellite they should've moved on already having drilled to target depth...

Let me shoot down that #wildstrudeltheory.........

Today's satellite (29th July) shows they are still on the same spot, still drilling.... down, down, deeper 'n' down.

Today's image (3rd Aug) shows they are still on the same Saddlereef spot....

I'm beginning to doubt my eyes.... Maybe I should find a clean bit of sleeve and wipe all the dust off my screen.

When is the next update?
Over a week at the same spot implies either technical difficulties or a very deep hole.

A new Sentinel image is due tomorrow, which should be clear of cloud if the forecast is accurate.

Be curious to see what is where at Blackhills, they have a lot of pads prepared for core drilling. In theory if they are not going so deep (a few hundred metres), they could set up, drill and move on to a new spot between Sentinel updates.

....however I think deep and deeper is the name of the game in this part of Oz.

8th August had a clear image.... And the activity still seemed to be at the same northern spot. I do question myself staring at these images and comparing to what has gone before.

To sanity check I've looked at all the other prepared pads and can't see them there.

So either they are staying to do more fan drilling fr.tjebsame starting point or they are having a draught time with drill bits and string.

13th August's satellite was cloudy..., Just about the only bit of fluff in the whole of Western Oz was above Blackhills.
