Goliath is an enormous target, coincidence with both magnetic and gravity surveys.
That section I’ve shown where the 2 drills have entered the magnetic intrusion. This is where they found gold mineralisation.
That intrusion can be seen very easily on the section and on the plan shown where the iso lines form a tight circle.
There were 3 historical drills but they weren’t deep enough and missed the intrusion.
The depth though is the issue here same as the Havieron issue back in 2003 where it was deemed too deep and they looked elsewhere.
Ggp are looking for Tier 1 but shallower at the moment Goliath drill info wasn’t in that criteria.
To hit gold first time in a massive target is fantastic. The size of that intrusion is deceiving it’s way bigger than Havieron.

Callum said to me that he doesn’t understand why they are not back there drilling.

On the Goliath plan the purple is the gravity anomaly

Just want to explain what I’m seeing here.
The arrows on the plan and section are indicating the same point on the magnetic contour at about 1,000m deep.
The purple line on the plan is the same contour indicating a vast area of that anomaly.
The green and purple lines from surface are the drill positions targeting the magnetic intrusion coming up from the 1,000m contour.

On the gravity plan I posted before you can see the vast extent of the iso line which extends upto to an anomaly G3
