Hey Bamps - am I being a touch naive - they look just like tarpaulins that have been ripped away from the sides of the box cut - or do you think it is more serious than this??
Thanks - Red.

Hi Red
The ground is really rubbish and water has got in behind that liner and blown the concrete.
The loose ground has made the rock anchors ineffective.
I have a photo somewhere I will post it.

Here we have a photo of the slope prepared before it was spray concreted.
The black geo membrane held in place by the rock bolts, which should’ve held the ground in place

Shaun has confirmed to me that they are at the hold point.
I told him I still can’t see how they’ve calculated those distances they don’t tie up with that hold point, but would have to accept what he’s telling us.

Suggestions that the Decline and vent shafts will be completed by the end of May are extremely unlikely. There’s a lot to do and Shaun intimated the September quarter.
Nearly all the Decline shown in this image needs to be in place before any production drives can commence, plus there is a vent shaft from surface possibly 2 number.
The idea that SLOS production will be this year is unrealistic, there must be 500m of production drives to complete prior to SLOS drives and then drilling for explosive charges.
Some ore will come out gradually as the drives are pushed through the ore.
This will be stored on the ROM pad to build up a supply prior to a contract being in place for sufficient transportation to Telfer.
2025 will be a continual build up on that ROM pad ready for transport to Telfer on a regular basis for processing.

This is the new Decline from the hold point.
The dark green looks like what they have approvals for.
The light green is part of the production Decline where the approvals are waiting to be received from the government.
Shaun did tell Paddy that there would be no interruptions to the Decline progress
