Prodigal Adult

Post by HopefullyGold »

I am happy to share that I’ve commenced as Processing & Maintenance Manager at Greatland Gold.

Excited to be returning to a plant I helped commission and ramp up 20 years ago, and to work with a fantastic crew - some still here from those days, and a few others also returning to be part of Telfer’s next chapter.

Also looking forward to contributing towards building Greatland into a top Aussie gold producer.

WOW ! LOVE IT

What an incredible CV Hopefully gold !!! :o

- this is absolutely phenomenal HIRE - FANTASTIC that Shaun and the new Team can pull in such huge talent and expertise like this Mark Benson chap to an old site, with essentially a bad reputation from NCM for basically being a mine on its last legs , which is literally in the middle of nowhere with a terrible reputation for rubbish food... ;-0

Just illustrates how massively exciting an oppprtuntuy these professionals think Greatland and Havieron now is. This guy has done it all : setting up Telfer 20 years back , setting up Newmont's Boddington mine plant, and then running the Kalgoorli Super pit expansion at Northern Star. working at BHP Illuka and Sons of Gualia I mean all the biggest names in the business are there.

This guy's looking like one of the best metallurgists in Australia: I'll bet he's job is to cut costs massively by increasing Telfer recovery rates across the board. with the right people amazing stuff can be achieved...

just increasing gold and copper recoveries by 1-2% via plant optimisation makes multi million $ difference to the monthly bottom line.
