China bans all paper gold trading (as of tomorrow)

They said it would be a Sunday night press release.. Officially - You can now only sell your paper gold position.

Merchant banks have 2 months to close all positions....

So what implications and why....? Well, presumably stop paper short selling, and to steadily control the physical market price higher.

Looks like something 'big' could be about to happen.
