*Shaun, great to have you in (in-person interview in Proactive studios), talking a bit today about your Scallywag license which is near to Havieron which we’ve spoken about lately, perhaps you’d like to start by giving us a bit of an update?
- Thx Tom, good to be in London and join you in the Studio
- In terms of Scallywag it’s right on structure, right next door to the Havieron project, the structures through the Paterson typically trend through that NW direction and this adjoins Havieron on that NW
- So, it’s probably the most prospective license we have in the portfolio so really excited with the drill program this season just passed.

*Understood, so what did you find?
- So 2 really good intercepts if we go through them
- The A35 prospect, in this one we’re really just drilling the pre-collar, so this is getting down to the country rock so what we did is we hit 2m at 2 grams gold
- Now that’s really good as this is actually above the target that we’re trying to test, so to already encounter mineralisation above that target we think bodes really well for drilling out that target in this 2023 program
- The other intercept was at the Pearl prospect, now this was a really good intercept, we had over 1300 grams of silver plus 3.5 of copper, so high grade that’s running over half an ounce gold depending on the pricing in the market
- So high grade and this is what we’ve uncovered here here is the biggest conductor target that we have in the portfolio, as can be the case when we’re recovering the core from underground
- We couldn’t bring up quite a meaningful amount of that core but to have this high grade intercept on the edge of that plus that big intercept target, really excited about what that bodes for our future drilling on Pearl.

*So, help us put this all into context Shaun, where does this all fit in with the wider portfolio do you think?
- Well look exploration, continuing to keep the drill rigs spinning is one of our 3 core pillars of strategy for Greatland
- So it’s really important for us, we love the option value within the portfolio, no better place to look for gold and copper than in the Paterson, it’s already been discovered, its Elephant Country, it’s got the Havieron deposit, you’ve got Telfer which has been a top gold mine in Australia for some 35 years and of course the Rio Tinto Winu project up to the north
- So when you get onto something in the Paterson its exciting, it’s really encouraging to have these mineralised intercepts early on in the exploration program for these prospects.

*And just finally Shaun, what do you think we can expect from you in 2023?
- We’ll continue to keep the drill rigs spinning, again, we really want to follow up A35 and Pearl
- To have intercepts… and mineralised intercepts is exciting for us and we can see a bigger opportunity there
- As I said with A35 we still need to come and test that target and for Pearl there’s a big conductor there to be tested, so exciting
- But more broadly I think, we continue to enhance the reputation of our technical team and we get a lot of engagement with other people in that Paterson, and I think that gives us a lot of opportunity to think about expanding that footprint
- So we’re excited about that and what the program can bring in 2023
- Plus I’ll just remind out shareholders we’ve got Ernest Giles, we continue to walk that forward in terms of First Nations access and we’d like to be drilling that in the 2nd half of this year, so, that's also a huge exploration opportunity for us, so lot’s to do.

*So, lots to do, well thank you very much for the update Shaun and hopefully it won’t be too long before you’re back to give us an update.
- Yeah thx Tom for having us in the studio and enjoyed the discussion.
