Oakover River

Another application
This was Encounter resources until recently.
It sits on the Tabletop fault line on the NW trend between Nifty and our Tabletop 2 anomaly.
They did an AEM survey just before it lapsed on part of this licence.
I can’t find why it lapsed but Encounter demerged part of its business that had this licence in 2022.
They’ve said it’s a zinc area but they’ve located a copper sulphide deposit, one older drill found 26m @0.6% copper
2 diamond drills were drilled in 2021 unfortunately I haven’t found the results yet.
Underlying molten magma coming up the fault seems to be the source.
A few other small companies like Rio and Fortesque 🙂 have applied for parts of this licence but Ggp has gone for the bigger area.

Encounter are calling this licence Lookout Rocks
The red triangles are proposed diamond drill holes and the black circles are air core.
They actually only drilled 5 DD holes and 26 AC holes.
They are still waiting for results as of today 24th November
