Processing fees

Post by FuttBucker »

Absolute speculation, no actual facts... But how much non-telfer feed does telfer process? What sort of potential revenue stream could processing all the little strikes around the region generate?

If wyloo wanted Hav, would it be through GGP? I'm not sure but still interesting. Well, ish.

It's all in the Grant Samual document. Normal Telfer costs are around $40-55 a tonne expected for Havieron and up to $120 or 130/tonne cut off for the most expensive (low grade) material in the Telfer open pits
In the end, Truth prevails...

Zero, zip, yada

Train one processes dirt crushed underground and fed to stacker 3, as well as pit dirt sourced from crusher 1.

Train two uses surface material from crusher 2.

To use dirt from anywhere not exclusively owned by Newmont would require an entire separate circuit. Train 1 and 2 share common components, such as the copper plant, CCD thickeners, CILs, carbon regen, reagent storage, and gold room, just for a start. To process anyone else’s dirt, unless you had an agreement to individually sample grades regularly, and account for individual trains downtime (planned or otherwise) would be expensive beyond belief. Who coves what maintenance? A lot of water to go under the bridge.
