Scallywag 2023

Looks like the 2023 campaign is underway at Scallywag - There are a couple of new clearances at Pearl and I've spotted activity on the pads at A35 too.

Hi Nitram,

Thanks for the wonderful detailed report - unfortunately I couldn't make it this time but great to hear it went so well.

Drilling At Rudall

Drilling has started at the prepared pads at Rudall sometime since the last clear satellite image on the 11th November. You can clearly see that they have set up camp there and have done pre-collars and begun the first diamond drill from the sump-pit. https://twitter.com/paddygall1/status/1598233760...

Re: Q3 Quarterly Interview

Hi Jiffy, Probably the wrong use of parent company by me, but Tattarang is the holding company for the Forrest family’s private business interests and we all know that Andrew "Twiggy" Forrest is the Executive Chair of Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) Look at the other two names of the top line...

Re: Q3 Quarterly Interview

Cheers Liam - great update from the gaffer about the state of play. Was hoping for a bit more colour on the reasoning behind the FS delay but I guess that would need to be in an RNS as it would be material information anyway. Some interesting comments about "being the partner of choice" fo...

Re: Drill results

Here is where the outstanding assays are in relation to the orebody on Google Earth. The green gridlines represent 1km so they are rather large stepouts to the North especially HAD158 which is close to ZIPA001 from last year but has been given a HAD reference this year. NOR002 is pretty much on the ...

No Longer Inactive in 2023

Seems like Ernest Giles will be back in the active tenements sections in 2023 as Shaun has always alluded to. We have secured co-funding from the WA government to explore at the Meadows target in 2023. That will complete the full circle for me as in was in 2017 when Newmont were surveying the Meadow...

Re: Denver Gold Forum

Well it seems like NCM are still smarting over the 5% valuation and the fact that Shaun has arranged the finance for Havieron completely independently of them. Their presentation for the Denver Gold Forum has just been published and Havieron doesn't even warrant a single slide this year. Considering...

Fair to say that Greatland are coming onto the radar of more people in Australia after the deals announced this week.

Re: Hotcopper's thoughts

Hi Costa, I think all options are on the table. The poster on HC obviously has a slant towards AZY as that's where he's invested. My takeaway was that Aussies can appreciate the gravitas of the board appointments - more so than us here in the UK - and can see that these top notch mining exec's (and ...

Hotcopper's thoughts

Have a look at the post below for an idea of what some Aussie's think may be in store for GGP with the new high-powered board. https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/recent-gold-m-a-in-australia-big-premiums-on-acquisitions.6764975/?post_id=63724365&embed=1 No answers, but just questions and ramblings...

Sprott - Broker Note 08.09.22

New Sprott Note out this afternoon. https://sprott.com/media/5663/220908-ggp-scp-drilling.pdf Making lots of nice noises about the Eastern Breccia. " The Eastern Breccia averaged 56m @ 3.3g/t over 8 pierce points from four holes, but the four higher-grade hits saw 46m @ 4.7g/t. We think this is...

Canaccord note 21/07/2022

Note from Canaccord from last week - some interesting comments from them in relation to the obstacles that NCM might encounter if they were to try for 100% of Havieron. They also highlight the new exploration results saying that the current MRE is a microcosm of ultimate potential. Screenshot_202207...

There has finally been some movement on the EPA website regarding the application for phase 2 of the mine at Havieron. It has been in stasis since December but a decision has been made on the assessment approach and the outcome published on the 7th July. https://epbcpublicportal.awe.gov.au/all-refer...

Hi paddy. You say we have longer to wait for a 20mill RNS. With the present rate of exploration drilling how long do you think we have to wait? ATB Speedy Hi Speedy, we looking at roughly 12 months before the decline gets down to the basement rocks - I assume that's the level where they will excava...
