FUDsters/Shorters

Appears to me that we have had an influx of folks on LSE who are looking to spread FUD. I can only assume (maybe incorrectly) that they do this to try to knock confidence and drive the SP down further. Since the 5% has now been resolved, I'm seeing the following subjects: 1. If NCM didn't take the 5...

Re: Expectations from NCMs MRE

Hi speedy. I would simply say that they have no need to be bullish. They just need to get a mining licence in quick time in order to feed Telfer. Prior to the 5% determination, they clearly had an incentive to underplay and now they could still have an incentive.....if they do have eyes on a takeov...

Re: Growth of Havieron

Interesting post Bamps. Got me thinking whether the orebody was really "pinched" or was it that there was no evidence available to prove that there was something at that particular level? The diagrams in your post suggest that we have significant drill coverage, but we could find that the ...

Re: Writing Competition: "My Outlook for Greatland (Buy, Sell or Hold)?"

Greatland Gold – The multi-generational investment opportunity. There’s a phenomenon in the mining industry called the Lassonde Curve. It maps the expected stock of junior explorers where the initial exuberance of a discovery then translates to the hard slog of financing and risk reduction to then b...

Re: Expectations from NCMs MRE

Thanks LA. Don't intend to get too much into the detail, however, I have a couple of challenges to your rationale. You say that they may cut off at December 2021 and simply duplicate the GGP MRE. Has NCM not stated that they would be basing this MRE using a cut off of end Jun this year. From that, I...

Re: Expectations from NCMs MRE

Josh - Good question - If only we knew! IMO, there are a couple of hi-level drivers that need to be considered here: incentive to NCM to increase the MRE quantities and the mechanics NCM employ to create an MRE. Incentives (what drives the NCM management): If NCM are going to take the 5%, do they fe...

Hydro/Dip Many thanks to each of you for your earlier posts, both of which presented compelling arguments for your views on the chances of a takeover. I am closer to Dip's view on the percentages but that is not because of the arguments presented but simply my own gut feel of the situation. I am awa...

Conveyor or Hoist - Pros and Cons

Lots of discussion around the bazaars regarding how NCM might increase the amount of ore that might be extracted. Choices appear to be either a conveyor or a hoist to augment the extraction which might be possible via the explortion decline. I am far from an expert in these subjects but wanted those...

Re: true value of Hav

IMHO what you're really asking for is not a true value but an imaginary value. This morning the value of Havieron - to shareholders - is 12p a share. This has always been the problem with the LSE chat board. College Yard. Not sure that I agree with your use of the word value. Value is a very person...

Re: Lassonde location tracker!

Loggy - I'm not as convinced as Dip is that the $60 was GGP's value rather than NCM's. I'd love to know, but suspect we'll not find out. In any case, it is all academic now anyway. However, you can imagine during the gameplay of negotiations SD telling NCM one of the following: "You're offering...

SD indicated that GGP had offered NCM substantially more in March in his presentation - see below:

We were all new investors to ggp once, and we read the LSE chat. Since the best posters are now here we are left with the dross!...Read it!...newbys need you!..sorry! But that's what I think.....LSE needs you! Mmmm Shake Rag, the title of this thread is a little confusing/shocking: Are you suggestin...

Re: Live Show

Jeez, I wish I hadn't started now. Futtbucker - If you want to see the spiral nature of the decline on the graph, you'll need to look at your monitor sideways on. Junglebabbler - 1. Y axis is lateral metres dug, to get the depth divide by 7. 2. Target of 2800M lateral distance (400M depth) is marked...

Re: Live Show

Good point Strudel. Aiways considered that a graph going upwards is progress.
But in this case, a graph showing progress on a decline should be decreasing. Let me have a play with Excel.
