So I'm wondering, following yesterday's surprise announcement, if members have altered their thinking on this question?
I just can't square up in my mind why shorters have been accumulating so many borrowed shares, (much of it still 'under the radar'), if there wasnt some major reason we are not seeing. Is it related to a forthcoming low bid offer for Hav or GGP?
$60m for 5% is peanuts. I don't buy the vague 'business hurdle' preventing the purchase. I reckon there's something afoot in the wind!!

I have changed my thinking.
I now think that Newcrest are not going to buy GGP or Havieron in the near or middle term. The time for that has passed for now.
I think that we're in a good position now and we're going mining with 30%.
The next catalysts for SP growth, I think, will be positive specific news about debt finance and the decline reaching the ore.

Hi All. I said all a long that NCM would not spend funds that did not give them their ROI criteria. There is no way NCM will give us FMV for our 30%.They have 70% for gambling with the drill and it has paid off for them. The short position needs to be resolved, this will happen after funding has been finalized. Equity funding will see a drop on Sp and the shorts closed and bank funding will see them squeezed, bring it on. ATB Speedy
