Land Access Agreement
Land Access Agreement
I don’t know about anyone else but I’m certainly confused on what’s happening at Ernest Giles.
Liam’s helped me with the licence applications.
The plan of the EG area shows Meadows in blue shading, this is where we can start drilling.
There’s 2 green ones attached to Meadows, that’s Peterswald Hill in the North and I’m not sure of the name of the southern one. Liam seems to think we have permission to work but the application hasn’t been granted yet.
The rest have all been applied for.
I didn’t realise we had all these lapsed but we had to reapply for of these except Meadows as far as I know. Liam said this happened in March 2021.
Looking at that clip from the latest RNS it says the “first on going activities under the new Land Access agreement “
It looks as though we have a new Native Title Holder” and they are using the Wakamurru to administer on their behalf.
It’s the first agreement approved by this community.
No wonder it’s taken Shaun so long to get approval and had to hire extra staff to administer this.
On the plan of the geology there is a blue line running vertically through the Meadows drilling and then goes west through Peterswald Hill, most of this to the SW is outside of the agreement the rest to the north and east is inside the agreement and has all had to be re applied for.
The latest approval is so that the bottom end of Meadows can be drilled.
It’s no wonder the government wants to change how this process is administered
Re: Land Access Agreement
There’s a list of the old licence names and the plan shows licences not applied for circled in yellow.
Plus the licence application.
There are other native holders involved which has also complicated matters
