Byrnecut & Jetcrete working Christmas

Post by HopefullyGold »

With Newmont’s people on site its good to see that they believe the decline infrastructure is important enough to ask Byrnecut and Jetcrete to work through the Christmas break.

Wow look at the waste rock mountain growing.
Good pic of how long that Jumbo drill is

This was photo was posted this morning at Havieron. I don’t know if they are utilising the waste rock for road surfacing or whether it is fresh stuff from the decline. It looks a bit to chunky to be for road surfacing but then I know nothing

HG,

I note that you have enquired with Byrnecut via e-mail, as to when Byrnecut were hoping to re-start the decline etc.

I have also been looking for similar clues/ information by visiting their website, and that of Jetcrete's.

Jetcrete's show Hav as being completed. Is this correct, I guess it must be?

https://www.jetcrete.com.au/projects

All I can find for now on the status of the Byrnecut decline contract, not withstanding GGP RNS's etc, is that no mention is made of Havieron, only Telfer.

https://www.byrnecut.com/our-projects-map/list-view/

So this suggests to me that perhaps NEM are combining both Hav & Telfer as one unit and using Telfer as a description to cover both, as described and shown in a post by Dip re sale of Hav &Telfer etc .

The good thing for now, is that the Telfer contract for Byrnecut is still shown as 'Active'.
