Ventilation - temporary ducting one inlet, one exhaust I expect? Probably attached to those two huge fans we saw in the most recent RNS. Eventually they will have their own vent bore raise.

Hydro they wont be one inlet and one outlet, they will both be inlets and the decline itself will be the outlet.

Or they could be exhaust vents and fresh air is drawn in via the decline .. seems more likely as the tubes are more stable that way.

Telfer has 4 shafts, with 2 large high voltage vent fans each in a sort of ‘Y’ configuration. All 4 are extraction, and the fresh air is drawn in through the portal.

On the surface is a huge chiller room with fans that blast cooled air in to the portal to be drawn down to the bottom, as you can imagine at more than a kilometre down it is not only hot but very humid I’d think.
