Interesting stuff Liam.

Of course, what was most interesting is what was taken out of the 1st version. Word has it appeared to include some 'thoughts' on future production volumes.

What I recall was something to the effect of on ' an extended campaign basis' say approx 7.5mt Telfer underground ore at 1.5g blended with 3.5 mt Havieron high grade 4.2g blended ore production to push some 11 MT through the mill at roughly 2 to 2.5g/t

In that instance 466koz would come from Hav and 321koz from Telfer = 787Koz

I mean hells bells - GGP almost a 1 moz producer from nothing (and w/o a haul shaft or conveyor installed)

But lets look at a 'range of scenarios':

608koz is based on 86% recovery at 2g
or 769koz based on 86% recover at 2.5g/t
or 828koz based on 89% recovery at 2.6g/t

... That in principle makes GGP a 700 koz to 900 koz producer

Like to see what a gold producer that scale is valued a presently ...?

Don Durret's recent table is pretty handy here :

Screenshot 2024-09-20 at 21.28.19.png

Check out B2 Gold Cap $4.3bn with its AISC at $1750
or maybe Bellevue gold with a 170koz Oz producer with a $1450 AISC and 1.12bn Mcap
IAM Gold 670koz and $3bn mcap
Ramelieus is best analog to GGP as it's Oz based but just 300koz with tidy $1350 AISC and $1.71bn cap

I reckon Rameleius is the closest and would appear to put Greatland with 750koz and very low AISC at around $4-5bn Mcap AND all that's without a haul shaft.

And oh Lord look at gold.... on 13% off $3000 - told you all once 2400 was breached it was clear sky above,..

Appreciate the input, but I wanted to clarify something.
The interview you're referencing hasn't been altered, and nothing has been removed since first publication.

Thanks for the interview, much appreciated!

Lots of informative things discussed, but I think Shaun's comments at the very end of the interview summed the process up well. Over all the hurdles of the past years, Greatland now has the full Havieron mine, plus Telfer, with gold ready to be processed. It is a huge accomplishment to reach this stage - which would have seemed unlikely, perhaps a daydream, for a long time. The 'confluence' of events with Newcrest, Newmont, and Havieron and Telfer, has worked out well for Greatland, and the difficulties navigated well by Shaun and colleagues.

We shouldn't take this new situation for granted. Yes there has been some share dilution, but the overall increase in prospective share value is significant, and with any other discoveries in the Paterson will likely increase.
