Re: Greatland find great results at Telfer
I can see this leapfrogging hav as the next mining planning priority. Amazing to have to push a resource like hav to the back burner, so to speak.

SD has already stated that getting Telfer life extended will be a priority .. so I can see this being developed quicker as there seems to be less work to doFuttBucker wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2025 9:40 am I can see this leapfrogging hav as the next mining planning priority. Nice to have Havieron in the back pocket and plenty of loose change still available at Telfer.
The Telfer workforce must feel really happy, their future looks brighter and more secure each day with Greatland.

Re: Greatland find great results at Telfer
This is GREAT NEWS. If GGP can keep finding new Telfer ore then more revenue will be produced through Telfer and GGP will have the funding to push through the Havieron development as soon as practical, hopefully all without the need to draw down on the banking facilities.
I cannot see any reason to delay developing Havieron and getting Hav into full production ASAP. A lot of underground infrastructure still needed so the sooner they begin the better.

The only thing holding Havieron back in my view is the EPA approval. The public consultation closed early December so the announcement should be imminent.
Once that’s sorted the new evaporation ponds can be built and start cracking on with the vents and dewatering.
So many possibilities the biggest constraint must be management time. Who’d of thought that a while ago

GGP holder for the longer term.
Re: Greatland find great results at Telfer
This is exactly how Northern Star managed to extend the lives of the 'dying' mines they took over.
GGP holder for the longer term.

West Dome Deeps
This is very very interesting. The Footnotes “gold equivalent” extracted below states AUD$3,150 and AUD$5.30 have been applied. Wow that is conservative when compared to today’s spot price of AUD$4,600 and AUD$7.30. Talk about UPSIDE !
Footnotes:
1 The gold equivalent (AuEq) is based on assumed prices of AUD$3,150/oz Au and AUD$5.30/lb Cu and metallurgical recoveries based on block metal grade, reporting approximately at 85% for Au and 90% for Cu which equates to a formula of approximately AuEq = Au (g/t) + 1.2* Cu (%). It is the company's opinion that all the elements included in the metal equivalents calculation have a reasonable potential to be recovered and sold.
2 Gold equivalent Gram metres (AuEq GM) are calculated by multiplying the intercept width by the gold equivalent grade.
