What can be done about Search engine optimisation to pull this site up the google rankings?

Was something I was looking at this morning. ideally, I would like to get up the rankings on "Greatland" - it is something on my mind, but how to optimize this without static content like a "webpage", needs some deeper thinking/creativity.

Advocacy will help mate as organic ranking takes time to build up whether proactively or passively for a normal website too as you probably know yourself

How we can all help there is by linking back to the forum wherever we encounter a comments section for instance in news articles and video's related to GGP - shove a link back to the forum in the comments to generate traffic and so forth from those other sites back here and I'd also include the ticker in any SEO strategy you undertake personally.

Links from LSE wont provide any SEO benefit directly because theyre nofollow

If you want to rank for Greatland or Greatland gold you could at least put it the site title so google knows its the main focus, the homepage one is currently <title>GGPChat - Havieron</title>

Something like "Greatland Gold forum - GGPChat" or "Greatland Gold discussion board - GGPchat"

I have been messing around with it, and page rankings.

But until the website starts seeing a sustained flow of visitors it will be lacking in page rankings.

We are seeing a stream of new members, so it cannot be that bad.

I have been accessing via a short cut.

I will put a google bookmark instead so as the search engine see 'me' (and others hopefully doing same thing) coming to the site, with different search criteria.

Sometimes a simple solution can be stumbled upon. I find (using Chrome) that if I key ggp.chat into the google search box halfway down the page rather than at the top it comes up as 4th item in list. After that if I am on lse ggp and I enter www.g into the top bar it automatically come up with www.ggpchat.co.uk and just hit enter to go to this site. I have no idea why or about computer systems but I wonder if an expert could easily utilize this to help with the problem if indeed its needed.
