Rick Rule on Greatland- “The size of the prize is spectacular”

I’m long #GGP” “I had expected NEC would buy GGP, that the shark would swallow the minnow” Re Telfer- “There’s a lot of low hanging fruit left” “The size of the prize is spectacular” “I think we’ll see a repeat of Northern Star here” “My good friends that just happen to be Australians think there’s ...

Re: Deal done - and set to release

Hydrogen Re “Toe Cutter” Hi you probably know I talk to a few people at Telfer. Some have left for other sites because of job concerns. Those remaining are aware of the number of mines (various commodities but in the main lithium, nickel and some iron ) are being put into care and maintenance. I can...

AFR article - Newmont non-core asset sales pegged for end-year; Macquarie on board

With gold trading at record highs, investors and dealmakers in and around ASX gold stocks are making hay. One company, however, has remained uncharacteristically quiet. Newmont, the world’s top gold producer caught headlines last year for its $26.3 billion merger with Australia’s biggest gold miner ...

Re: Evaporation Ponds

Bamps, they’ve had heavy rain on and off for the last 10 days. I received a video from Telfer Monday and there’s surface water everywhere. I informed a lady that Newmont are getting rid and word’s getting round now. Funnily enough they know about Havieron but not heard of Greatland, at least that’s ...

Re: Trav And Matty all over it - and They "bloody Love it"

🤭 I’ve been talking to the boys too for a while now. Despite there banter and raw appraisals they still have to watch what they say. “The pre-emptive right is a big deal (weird you can't publicly verify its existence)” It was a good show but I did point out a few of Matty’s errors to them this morni...

Re: Byrnecut & Jetcrete working Christmas

This was photo was posted this morning at Havieron. I don’t know if they are utilising the waste rock for road surfacing or whether it is fresh stuff from the decline. It looks a bit to chunky to be for road surfacing but then I know nothing

Byrnecut & Jetcrete working Christmas

With Newmont’s people on site its good to see that they believe the decline infrastructure is important enough to ask Byrnecut and Jetcrete to work through the Christmas break.

Re: Liam

Liam is great. He is in the category of 'trend setter' in my book. He has tackled the idea of setting up a community and communication link between shareholders and from them to management. Critics are those who never put their heads above the parapet. I absolutely despise them and their negativity...

Money of Mine- This is their latest video. Greatland gets a mention in the first 5 minutes and Trav is blown away with the PI’s passion for a Australian company. Also Liam’s invitation for a joint collaboration is on the cards.

Telfer Havieron combined AISC

In reference to Grant Samuel’s Telfer/Havieron combined valuation. Rick Rule states that the purpose of M&A activity is to save money by reducing staff and overhead costs. New management (whoever that will be) will look at the headcount and efficiency of the operation. Certainly 1500 staff for w...
