Haul Road

A question for this boards resident experts. What is the status of the haul road required between Hav and Telfer? Is it being built already as part of the pre-mining works? If not, when will work on it start and how long might it take?

There were some info on LinkedIn recently with a contractor talking about delivery of a 32km Widening contract of the Havieron access road and something earth works associated with the evaporation ponds.

From the satellites it doesn’t look as though it’s been completed yet.

Looks like the main construction work can’t start until the EPA approval for Stage 2
At the moment there’s 2 roads from Havieron running alongside each other up to the new junction position.
From there it’s just one road the Northern access road which is what’s in that LinkedIn photo

Once EPA approval for Stage 2 is in place, how long will it take to build the 55km haul road between Havieron and Telfer?

Less time than it takes to drill through the last 80m of vertical decline.....

In project speak the road isn't on the "critical path".

You can have multiple crews working simultaneously all along the 55km length if you want to shorten time lines.
